My brother
I don’t know anyone that can demonstrate, even remotely, the same kind of single-minded objective seeking determination and dedication that my brother can. He has dedicated 5 years of his life to studying a degree and honours by correspondance, whilst saving every last cent he could, whilst keeping his liabilities to an absolute minimum, staying in an unpleasant business industry and still managing to be an amazingly supportive partner to his girl friend and most of all his family. He runs marathons and maintains a social life and is able to still enjoy luxuries and purchases by shaving a little bit off his tight budget.
He has done all of this for one objective, to emigrate on a state sponsorship to Australia after his one year stint in Melbourne.
And finally, it all happened. Years of committment and dedication have paid off and my little brother is set to head off to Canberra.
Words can’t describe how happy I am for him. I am proud. He has done good by our family name.
“I wish you all the best my brother. Australia is a wonderful country and I miss it regularily (and I only spent a month there), but you know what, I’ll miss you even more. Thanks for all the support you’ve given me during the last two years especially.“
This is indeed a beautiful and deepfelt dedication to Ryan and echoes my sentiments in every respect. You both make feel soo proud and I am indeed the luckiest mom alive to be blessed with such extraordinary sons. Luv you both until eternity.
